Wyatt, Richard | Special Collections & Archives

Name: Wyatt, Richard

Historical Note: Richard Wyatt lived in China during the 1930s, and was an active member of the Boy Scouts Association in Shanghai. As a part of the Seventh Shanghai Rovers troop, Wyatt became one of the most highly decorated Scouts in Shanghai troop history. He was one of very few holders of the Bushman's Thong (for outdoor skill), the King's Scout Badge (for community service), and Gold Cords (18 proficiency badges), which when all held together was the highest achievement possible for a Scout. He now lives in Australia.
