Olive View Hospital Earthquake Damage Collection
Scope and Contents
The Olive View Hospital Earthquake Damage Collection consists of photographs of damage caused to the hospital by the 1971 San Fernando Earthquake, also known as the 1971 Sylmar Earthquake. The photographs, primarily prints, document damage to the newly-built hospital. The majority of images include captions with detailed descriptions of the damage and location of each image.
