The 'Los Angeles Record' "Heroes of Health" Articles Collection consists of three articles from 1933 published in the Los Angeles Record as part of a series written by Rodney Dutcher called "Heroes of Health." In the series, Dutcher sought to illuminate the efforts of the United States Public Health Service to combat infectious diseases in America, with each article focusing on the story of a particular disease, including parrot fever (psittacosis), tularemia, and Rocky Mountain spotted fever.
