The Carl I. Wheat 'Flush Times in the Diggins' Research Collection consists of letters, diaries, and other materials compiled by Carl White while researching Leonard W. Noyes, with an introduction and explanatory notes by Wheat. Noyes' Carson Valley Reconnaissance Report of 1855, Union Water Companies Ditch of 1855 and Wheat's notes, correspondence, and news clippings about Captain Noyes are included.
