Scope and Contents
The Nineteenth Century Photograph Collection consists of tintypes, ambrotypes, and cartes de visite of unrelated individuals, probably photographed in the United States from the 1860s through the 1870s. The cartes de visite are photographs of Civil War soldiers, mostly officers. There is one early 19th-century albumen print.
