Richard “Dickie” Embleton Lived in Hicksville, NY. His father, also Richard Embleton, served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. His mother’s name was Mary. At some point Dickie lived with his Aunt Laura, Uncle John, and cousin Patty. The Richard Embleton Correspondence Collection consists of personal correspondence primarily from Dickie’s mother and father to him when he was a young boy. There are also some letters written to his Aunt, and to Dickie from other relatives. The letters from Dickie’s father include many comical cartoons drawn by his father. A small amount of get-well-soon greeting cards are also included in the collection.
