Herbert B. Harris Travel Scrapbooks
Scope and Contents
The Herbert B. Harris Travel Scrapbooks consist of two books on travel and history in China. Herbert and Genevieve Harris used the volumes like scrapbooks, and pasted in photographs, tucked in clippings, and took notes based upon their travels in China in 1937. The two books are The Pageant of Chinese Historyby Elizabeth Seeger and Peking by Juliet Bredon. Photographs and newspaper clippings document their visit to the Great Wall and Peking, and Genevieve's interest in Confucius.
