Charles Weeks Collection
In 1909 Charles Weeks pioneered what was then a new method of raising poultry, by concentrating birds into coops. In 1923 he established a small farming community in Owensmouth known as the Weeks Poultry Colony. This collection is comprised of various publications which document the activities and lifestyle of Charles Weeks and the farming community he helped create in the San Fernando Valley.
Fritz Weinman Papers
The Fritz Weinman Papers document the life of Jewish German emigre, Fritz (Fred) Weinman and his family through correspondence, vital documents, photographs, newspaper clippings, and ephemera. The archival materials document his efforts to leave Nazi Germany and the places he lived before ultimately settling in the Pacific Palisades. Several documents also record property lost by his family and efforts to receive restitution.
Andy Weisser Photograph Collection
The Andy Weisser Collection consists of course work for Journalism 397A and B, Summer Sundial (1984) including California State University, Northridge campus newspaper (Sundial) student employee guidelines, photographs, and associated newspaper clippings of images taken by then student Andy Weisser. Subjects are overwhelmingly on-campus people, events, and views.

The West Valley Occupational Center is a division of Adult and Career Education of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). The collection consists of annual reports and seasonal class schedules.
West Van Nuys Chamber of Commerce Collection
The West Van Nuys Chamber of Commerce (WVNCC) was established in 1952 by a group of merchants in Van Nuys, who were members of the West Valley Associated Chambers of Commerce and the Valley-Wide Streets, Highways, and Transportation Committee. The collection documents the administrative functions of the association through correspondence, minutes, newsletters, pamphlets and reports. Subject files also contain materials that depict the various activities and goals of the organization.
