Antonio and Luz Mendez Calvo Family Collection
Antonio Regalado Calvo and Maria de la Luz Mendez Calvo were immigrants from the Mexican state of Sonora. They immigrated to the San Fernando region of California where they met and married during the Mexican Revolution. The collection gives a glimpse into the lives of a Mexican-American family in the Los Angeles area during the mid-20th century.

The Milton Carlson Court Transcript contains a single court transcript from the People vs. David Caplan. The case centered around the 1910 bombing of the Los Angeles Times Building. David Caplan was tried for his part in the crime in 1916. This transcript is the cross examination of the criminologist and handwriting expert, Milton Carlson.
Thomas C. Carrell Collection
Senator Thomas C. Carrell became active in politics as the campaign manager for assemblymen Julian Beck and Allen Miller. Carrell served as an assemblyman from 1963-1967, and as a senator from 1967-1972. The papers of Senator Carrell document his political, professional, and personal interests. The bulk of the collection consists of legislative bills and subject files.
