Northeast Valley Oral History Project Collection
The Northeast Valley Oral History Project documents the life experiences of individuals who grew up or settled in northeast San Fernando Valley cities, such as Pacoima, Sylmar, Lake View Terrace, Arleta, and San Fernando. The collection notably contains a number of interviews documenting the experiences of the African American community in the San Fernando Valley.

The Old China Hands Oral History Project Collection consists of oral histories of "Old China Hands," foreigners who lived and worked in China before or shortly after the Communist takeover of the country in 1949. The experiences of Old China Hands are particulary valuable to historians studying modern Chinese history and world history, as well as those interested in intercultural communications.

(PRI) was created by Los Angeles City Councilman Bob Ronka as a non-profit public corporation to help revitalize the City of Pacoima, California. The Pacoima Revitalization, Inc. Collection documents the organization's historical development and depicts the various activities of PRI within the community.

Virginia Prince was born in Los Angeles on November 23, 1912. In 1960, Prince established Transvestia, a magazine she also edited and wrote for. The Virginia Prince Papers document Prince's life, activism, engagement with trans and crossdressing communities, and work as editor of Transvestia.
