The Iain Hamilton Collection documents perspectives from a uniformed LAPD officer based out of the West Valley Division for the majority of his career. This includes his daily work as a police officer, and his engagement with significant moments in late 20th century Los Angeles history, including the 1984 Olympics, the 1992 Los Angeles riots, and the 1994 Northridge earthquake.
Jane Hardy World War II Correspondence Collection
Anna Jane Hardy lived in Dorset, Vermont and worked at the United Service Organization (USO). The collection consists of 15 letters Jane Hardy received between 1944-1946, and a 1944 newsletter titled GSO Tattler which mentions a going away party for Jane.

The Herbert B. Harris Travel Scrapbooks consist of two books, The Pageant of Chinese Historyby Elizabeth Seeger and Peking by Juliet Bredon, used as travel scrapbooks. Photographs, newspaper clippings, and notes document a trip to China in 1937 and are throughout the two publications.

Mabel Haynes was born in Shanghai in 1918, and lived and worked in Shanghai and Hong Kong until 1949, when she and her husband fled from the new Communist regime. The collection consists of items collected by Haynes related to Shanghai and the Old China Hands experience, including correspondence, articles, and photographs.
Heart Mountain Incarceration Camp Collection
The Heart Mountain incarceration camp was established by the U.S. government’s War Relocation Authority (WRA) to incarcerate Japanese Americans during World War II. This collection brings together materials documenting the Heart Mountain incarceration camp including meeting minutes, camp laws, and correspondence.
Julien Heimendinger Collection
Julien Heimendinger was a Renault salesman, with exclusive contracts to sell Renault vehicles in Shanghai in the 1930s. The collection consists of exclusivity contracts from 1934-1936 between Heimendinger and Renault, a letter from Renault offering discounts on certain Renault vehicles, and photographs of Heimendinger, Renault cars, and service stations in Shanghai.
