The Harry Fryman Collection documents Fryman's work in the early 20^th century hospitality industry through maps, receipts, and photographs related to Los Angeles hotels and cafes. Both his work as a Southern California land developer and the role of Fryman Ranch in silent film production are documented through photographs and advertisements.

The collection consists of two handwritten diaries written by Canadian Private Whitfield T. Ganong from 1918-1919, which document the daily experiences of his battalion in Europe during World War I. Also included is Ganong’s pay book, which states his rate of pay as well as all advances taken by Ganong while on active service from 1917-1919.

This collection consists of 33 gay Christmas and Valentine greeting cards.
